Bobby Corrigan, Ph.D., has been active in the science of pest control for more than 30 years. While working as a pest control technician to put himself through college, Dr. Corrigan became fascinated with rodents and made them the focus of his career.
Today, Dr. Corrigan is widely known as one of the world’s leading experts in rodent control. For more than 16 years, Dr. Corrigan conducted research and taught classes on urban rodentology at Purdue University. His pioneering research into the behavior of urban rodents has revolutionized rodent pest management while reducing rodenticide impacts on health and the environment. Dr. Corrigan has authored or co-authored dozens of technical and research papers on rodent control, as well as three textbooks and their subsequent editions, all of which are current up until 2023-24.
Dr. Corrigan has appeared in Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, and other publications. A sought-after guest, he has appeared on PBS, NPR, CBC, the World News Hour, and in several documentaries and movies, including two PBS documentaries released in 2023.
